Though BLONDE is based on a novel, Ana de Armas and the props team recreated over two dozen real magazine covers that Marilyn actually appeared on. “These were not just covers—I found copies of actual magazines which I’d skin with our photographs of Ana as Marilyn,” says props master Josh Bramer. "Whenever an actor opened up a magazine or newspaper, they’d be looking at what had actually appeared in that issue. It gave them the ability to play off of something real.”
